General information cannot account for your history, your medications, your X-rays, or what is actually happening in your mouth. Only an examination can do that.
Reading this site does not make you a patient
No dentist–patient relationship is created by visiting this site or by reading it. That relationship begins only when you are seen and accepted as a patient at one of the practices, in person.
Emergencies
Do not use this website for anything urgent — it is information only.
For a dental emergency, telephone the office directly. For a medical emergency — including difficulty breathing or swallowing, facial swelling that is spreading, or uncontrolled bleeding — call 911 or go to an emergency department.
No guarantee of outcome
Dentistry is practiced on individual people and results vary. Nothing on this site promises a particular result, and no description of a procedure should be read as a guarantee that it will suit you or succeed in your case.
Where Dr. Abid practices
Dr. Abid treats patients at independently owned dental practices. Those practices set their own fees, scheduling, billing, insurance participation, and policies. This site describes Dr. Abid’s own background and approach; it does not make representations on behalf of any practice, and it is not an offer of treatment by any practice.
Availability at any given office can change. Confirm with the office before traveling.
Licensure
Dr. Abid is licensed to practice dentistry in New Jersey. Nothing here is an offer to practice dentistry in any state where she is not licensed.
Insurance
Any list of accepted insurance plans is a general indication only. Participation is agreed between the plan and the practice, not with this website, and it changes. Coverage also differs between policies under the same plan name. Verify your own benefits with the office and with your insurer before treatment.
