This policy explains what this website collects and what happens to it. It covers this website only. It does not cover the dental practices where Dr. Abid treats patients — those practices are separate businesses with their own privacy practices and their own records.

This site is operated by Dr. Zoha Abid, DDS, as an individual clinician. It is an informational and professional profile site. It is not operated by, and does not speak for, iCare4Smiles, Brighter Dental Care, or any other practice.
What this site collects
This site has no contact or appointment forms and does not ask you for personal information. Appointments are arranged directly with the office you choose, by telephone — the numbers are in the footer of every page.
What this site does with information
Nothing you type reaches this site, so there is nothing to sell, rent, or use for advertising, and no marketing email is sent from this site.
Anything you tell an office directly — on the phone or in person — is handled under that office’s own privacy practices, not this policy.
Is this covered by HIPAA?
Generally, no — and it is worth being clear about why. HIPAA protects information held by a covered entity in connection with treatment, payment, or health care operations. This website holds no patient information at all: reading it creates no record about you beyond the ordinary server logs described below.
The moment you become a patient at one of the practices, your records there are protected, and that practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices governs them. Ask the front desk for it. Do not use this website to send anything you would want HIPAA to cover.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. It runs no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, and no social media trackers. Web fonts are served from this site’s own server rather than a third party, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to a font provider.
The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. A caching layer may set a functional cookie needed to serve pages correctly. If analytics are added later, this section will be updated first.
Your choices
Because this site stores nothing about you, there is nothing here to request, correct, or delete. Requests about your dental records must go to the practice that holds them; this site does not have them.
Children
